ABOUT
PAUL LEE
Paul is an American stand-up comedian based in Cape Town, South Africa. Originally from Austin, Texas, he made the move in 2015—and he's been charmingly confused ever since.
Known for his sharp observational humor, Paul offers a fresh, outsider’s take on South African life. His "fish-out-of-water" perspective delivers a blend of wit and relatability that resonates with both locals and expats alike.
Paul is a proud advocate for clean comedy, crafting material that’s smart, funny, and family-friendly. Whether you're 12 or 82, you won’t have to brace yourself for awkward moments—yes, even if you're watching with your gran.
Beyond the stage, Paul is also an accomplished musician. Together with his wife, Jennifer, he performs as part of an acoustic duo called Table 13. Their stripped-back covers of artists like Nirvana, Radiohead, and Amy Winehouse have become a hit at weddings, bars, and local markets.
He's also active in his local church community in the greater Durbanville area, where he and Jennifer serve as worship leaders.
And if you think that’s where the résumé ends—think again. Paul is a professional voice-over artist as well. You can find more of his work at tonguetwisters.co.za.
